Materials International Space Station Experiment (MISSE)

During my second summer at NASA's Marshall Space and Flight Center, I had the opportunity to contribute to MISSE, an series of experiments where material samples are exposed to space and tested to see how this environment affects them. These samples are attached to the exterior of the International Space Station, and returned back to earth after an extended period of time.
